Five tips to achieve a victorious life !

It all begins with an idea.

Sis, we’ve all been there, haven’t we? Life unexpectedly hits us with a crushing blow, like the sudden death of a loved one or the end of a marriage.

Our first instinct is to hide away for days, comfort eat and cry our troubles away. But that’s how a victim acts! That’s not you! Sis, you’re a victor in Christ! 1 Corinthians 15:57: But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." In fact, you’re more than a conqueror!

A conqueror is ready for battle and doesn’t sit on the sidelines like a victim having a pity party. No, a conqueror gets in the fight and emerges victorious ! Romans 8:37 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

Jesus warned us about the troubles we would face in this world, but he also assured us of our ability to overcome. John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

We possess the victory, but it doesn’t come without effort. We must step up and exercise our faith! It truly is a fight of faith! Pastor Rodney Howard Browne says no one gets a free ride up the side! But remember sister, that no matter the fight Jesus is with you and when he is with you so is the victory!

1 Timothy 6:12: "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold of eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses".

We can choose to be victims, reacting emotionally and becoming enslaved by our feelings. Alternatively, we can decide to be a victors and engage in a fight. I am not taking about a physical fight but against circumstance that come against you. We can stop the crying, living in self-pity and put on the armor of God and fight the good fight of faith.

Ephesians 6:11 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

When we do this, we leave behind the childish ways and step into our destiny to become mighty women of God! 1 Corinthians 13:11 says, “When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man (or woman), I gave up childish ways.”

It’s time to leave the childish ways behind and become the victorious women God created us to be! It’s time to live as conquerors! Proverbs 31:25 says, “Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”

By putting on God’s strength, we gain dignity and can face any challenge with laugher and not tears.

1. Achieve victory in your health:

The first tip to achieve greater victory in your life is through improved health!

A victorious woman is intentional about caring for the body God gave her. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So, glorify God in your body".

Achieving success in this area involves developing healthier eating habits. One way is to reduce your daily sugar intake, make healthier choices by finding healthier snacks. Save the sweets for the special occasions!

Additionally, avoid eating after 6 PM to allow your body the opportunity to properly digest food. Another way to improve your health is by making getting enough sleep a priority. Aim to get 7-8 hours of solid sleep every night. When you get adequate rest

Remember, our families rely on us; we need to be healthy to care for them and be present for all those wonderful moments ahead.

2.  Achieve a closer relationship with Jesus:

The second tip to achieve greater victory in your life is through a closer relationship with Jesus!

We can see greater victory in our lives to having more peace and joy when we build our relationship with Jesus. This means having the discipline to set aside time each day for Bible reading and prayer.

There's no need to be overly rigid; spending just 30 minutes can be sufficient, and memorizing a single verse is a great start. In busier seasons you can listen to the Bible app while driving or when you are sleeping.

While many aspire to have a strong faith, not everyone is willing to put in the effort. Choose to be the one who actively works to strengthen their faith.

3.  Achieve victory within your home:

The third tip to achieve greater victory in your life is having a blessed home life!

One way to cultivate a blessed home life is by taking responsibility for our roles. As victorious women, we are accountable for managing our households by diligently overseeing everything that happens within them.

We must approach our duties with determination, ensuring that no detail goes overlooked. Proverbs 31:27 states, “She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.”

We find victory in our homes by creating an environment where the spirit of God dwells. It's essential to keep strife out and strive not to grieve the Holy Spirit. My prayer is that your home is blessed, and may the peace of God abound within it.

4.  Achieve victory in your marriage:

The forth tip to achieve greater victory in your life is having a blessed marriage!

We are victorious women when we embrace our God-given roles by honoring and submitting to our husbands. As stated in Ephesians 5:22, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands as unto the Lord.”

We strengthen our marriages by prioritizing our husbands above all other relationships, including our children, with the exception of our relationship with God.

5.  Achieve victory in your parenting:

The fifth tip to achieve greater victory in your life is through Biblical parenting !

We are victorious in parenting by embracing our role to be the mothers God called us to be! When we spend time with our children, guiding, correcting and disciplining them according to the Bible. Our commitment to quality moments allows us to be fully present as we create joyful memories together.

As victorious women, we also instill in our children the teachings of the Word of God and the importance of prayer. Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” We rise to the challenge in our parenting by becoming prayer warriors for our children, as encouraged in 1 Thessalonians 5:17: “Pray without ceasing.”
